Ask Yasmine what it is.

"Hey, uh... Yasmine? Do you know anything about possible magic stuff? You probably read a lot of books, and--Well, sorry. I just wanted to ask if you knew about this," you say as you hold up the ball. "It might just be a toy."

She looks up from her zone. Her eyes turn to you, and then she fixates her gaze to the item--skin going even paler than usual.

"Wh-Where'd you get that?" she says in a strange whispered shout.

"I found it on my way in. You know what it is?"

Red comes across her face as she pats over her pockets. She looks back to it as she shifts uncomfortably in her seat, as if she has no idea what to do or say in response. You assume she does know what it is, and she possibly even owns it. You don't want to have stolen something from her. You smile and gesture it outwards.

"If this is yours, you can take it. But what is it?"

"Nothing. Please h-hand it over to me."

"Is it... dangerous?"

Going more red as she watches you wave it around, she lifts herself up from the booth and sits beside you. She comes in closer--much more than you expected--and snatches it from her hands to tuck away into her pocket. With hands over her skirt, she looks down at the table timidly before speaking.

"I--"

But she's interrupted by the waiter with your food.

"Ah. You moved, miss. Here you are, both of you. Please enjoy your meals."

He places down both of your plates as well. The smell is delicious. You smile and accept the food, and the man disappears back down the aisle, leaving you both sitting beside one another in a bit of an awkward silence. At least you have food this time. You dig in.

"I," she continues, "need you to promise not to tell anyone."

"Yeah. I promise. Is everything all right?"

She leans in close and whispers to you. She's a bit short, so she has to lift up, and her breath tickles your ear.

"It turns on and off a v--... A vibrating thing," she mutters out, though barely. "It's in my pan--..."

She finally turns crimson and flustered enough to pull away. She tugs down on her skirt and looks shamefully at her soup before finally beginning to eat. She averts her gaze from you, likely humiliated. You start to piece things together. A vibrating thing in her pan... Panties? She has a vibrator?

"It's nothing to be ashamed of, Yasmine," you say as you try to comfort her.

"In public... it's exciting," she says softly, so much so that you barely hear.

"You were going to do this here?"

She says nothing and continues to eat.

"So you like the danger of it all?"

"Y-Yes. Please don't tell anyone. I'd die of embarrassment. It's so humiliating."

"Hey. It's fine. Just be careful though, all right?"

She nods.

"You can still do it if you want to," you tease.

"No! I mean, uhm... No. It's too much. I'm already so embarrassed."

"I'm just joking. We can just talk."

And the two of you converse for some time while you finish your meals. It was actually pretty delicious. When the waiter comes, both of you pay. You sit a bit longer and chit chat a bit more. Eventually though you stand up from the booth and to your surprise, she gives you a soft embrace.

"So, you won't tell anyone, right?" she says with a shy smile.

"No. I promise."

"Goodbye, John."

"Goodbye now. Be safe."

You go your separate ways. It's time to go home.
