Ashley

Her Dad hates you but loves his daughter and future grand kid. He basically tolerates you. He warms up more after you and Ashley get married. You impress him further when you use the ideas and experiences from your Uncle's photo business on advertising and promotion of the Smith family holdings. You work long hours to learn the basics of the trucking, grocery, hardware, and banking interests the family has. You start a furniture line and it compliments the other businesses.

You are becoming the face of the Smith family, second only to Mr. Smith. Ashley does many things behind the scenes but your duties make it easier for her to be mom of your many kids. Her brother Jon is often gone for months at a time and comes back broke and stinky. He is home only to get money from his dad or mom and make promises to clean up. He then disappears again, presumably to use ****. He is believed to have fathered a few bastard kids with different girls in town but isn't around for the tests.
