Arrival.

Freya's division had arrived after the five-day march and went straight for the bridge and after a short but fierce battle with the bridge guard, they took both ends. As her divisions moved over the bridge and started to fan out into the land beyond the Juno she was joined by General Cassandra whose cavalry had been tasked with defending Freya's northern flank. "Good job General Freya did you take many casualties?" Freya looked at Cassandra and told her that she had lost minimal warriors about thirty of which ten had died. Freya called a messenger and told her to ride to General Jasmine and to tell her the bridge was clear. With that done Freya excused herself and headed to the front where her troops were waiting for the advance against Kha while Jsamine deployed her warriors on both sides of the river. When Jasmine got the message she ordered her army to march and crossed the river just behind schedule then turn left and followed the river towards Talia.

As midday approached Arerto was receiving messages that the first objective had been secured but the follow-up objectives had stalled. Freya was experiencing unexpected resistance around Kha and Jasmine had been blocked at the main road into Talia. Killiane had sent a report that she was in position awaiting Admiral Katherine to launch her attack against the harbour. Arerto then ordered Cassandra to turn over half of her division to Freya as the crossroads were a priority. She ordered Killiane to send half of her division to assist Jasmine to break resistance near the road so they could head towards Talia. Arerto had known the battles would not be easy but they should be easier as on paper Chasin only had the palace and city guards to defend her. Then reports came in that the enemy encountered were mostly mercenaries who were holding up the advance with a few city commanders to lead them.

The night before the attack commenced Katherine's ships were in hiding in an inlet with a mountain between them and the prying eyes of the city. Her first mission was to take the two lighthouses that guarded the entrance to the harbour. She had sent two boats each with twenty marines to achieve this task. She would know it was complete when the flames of the light were extinguished then she could move in with her fleet deep into the harbour while the transports waited at the lighthouses. Katherine peered from the top of the mountain and could see her fleet ready waiting then she turned to the lighthouses waiting and waiting. She just made out her two boats approach the targets and the marines disembark to climb the piers and soon she could just make out the clash of steel. She continued to watch waiting until finally, the first light went out followed by the second light which signalled the success of the mission. She headed back to her ship and ordered her fleet into action
