Chapter 4 by zaick zaick

What does Arianna do?

Arianna offers to help for some help in return

"I could help you," Arianna led with. Finally the lady seemed to pay attention. "But I need something, first."

"Oh! Um, will it take long?"

"Could I borrow your shawl? My dress got ripped from your leaf blower." Arianna did not expound on how ripped, or what all was missing, and hoped this lady could figure out the distress. She did not, but still, the lady only shrugged and pulled it from her side.

"Here you are." She handed the shawl over. "You really meant to help, huh?"

Arianna paused, wondering if she could get out of this. If she did not help, she might lose the shawl. She could always run with it but, as it stood, she was still stomach deep in brambles. She nodded, feeling she had ****. "What needs moved?" Arianna tied the shawl around her waist. It was beige and light. A little more space in between the threads than she wanted. Still, it covered her backside. She stepped out of the bushes and the brambles picked at the shawl and her slip some, but she kept her hands on it to keep on. The shawl's wide knitting became loose at the edges, but the lady, like with everything else, did not notice. Arianna patted it down. She had to tie it diamond ways. It gave a little double layers around her hip, and it was long enough to almost reach her knees. It was, however, open from the tie so it fit like a skirt with a large slit, or even a large sarong. From the front, her slip looked like just that - a slip with tiny tears along the bottom of it. Still, it was better than nothing. Arianna straightened her strap, feeling it was loose had to keep her shoulder constantly aligned to it. She reached back for her panties and saw nothing. Where did it go? She grabbed her bag and stuffed the torn dress in it. She could use that in a few moments after she helped this lady, and hopefully talked her into letting Arianna keep the shawl.

"Don't need any first aid?" The lady asked, then without waiting for a reply said, "good. My name's June. I have a bunch of big boxes they expected me to take out of the truck myself to the stage. Not going to happen, so can you help me?" She pointed to the truck not far. Arianna nodded and put her back over her shoulder.

The two went to the truck. Arianna felt slight breezes with each step. Before in a flowing sundress it was fine. Long. Now, she had only what was underneath, and twice as short. For her backside, the shawl was all she had to cover. She arranged her bag to sit atop the shawl to prevent it flying up.

June took one of the boxes and dragged it from the truck. There were three, and indeed, much larger than one could carry. She angled it so Arianna could grab a side. "We have a little ways to go. Ready?"

Arianna nodded and took hold of the box. They carried it half way across the park with little issue. Honestly, it was not that heavy, just awkwardly large. Arianna felt, though, with the bottom of the box pressing against her hips, it was pushing down at the shawl. She felt it cling to the wideness of her curve, slowly drooping lower and shaking more with each step. She thought of asking to stop, but just then, June put the box down. She nodded and began to head back to the next box, and Arianna tailed behind her, pulling the shawl up again, hoping the next would not be so bad.

It was heavier. Much heavier. She had a hard time situating it with her arms around it, and it propped so it would not press against the top of her shawl. To do this she put her bag down and leaned against the truck for a while, and then they were off again. A few steps in, Arianna felt something tugging.

She looked behind herself. The end of the shawl was caught on the truck bed! Multiple strands were pulling from her backside. She could feel slight tingles make their way up her thighs. In moments, if they did not stop, they would certainly unravel the whole thing! This, however, was incredibly heavy. If she dropped it, it could hurt both of them.

What does Arianna decide?
