Approach a patch of runes on the wall

You Walk towards the runes on the wall, attempting to decipher what they mean. Unfortunately for you, this is very ancient magic that's also in a foreign language, so there's no chance.

Bummed by this revaluation, you touch the runes to see if something happens. Immediately, an entrance appears in the brick walls, like a doorway. It extends outward, turning into a hallway that leads somewhere you can't see.

"Hey Lia, come check this out!" She runs over, and peeks into the deep hallway. "Woahhhh, this is fucking terrifying! You should go first! I do not wanna go in here!" She says, visibly scared of the dark and the unknown at the end of the tunnel. "No, no, ladies first of course. Besides, I'm right behind you anyways!" You say, seeming as though you're being nice, but in reality the dark and unknown scares you even more than Lia.
