Your name is Taylor Castaway .

Unfortunately, you were born to parents who did not want you and swiftly gave you away to the orphanage.

Raised without a family, your peers were other girls and boys who were also orphaned at an early age. Your surrogate parents were numerous teachers who did what they could to discipline and educate you. Every year of your life was spent trying to turn you into the state's ideal boy, an obedient sissy. No effort was spared to ensure that someone would take you in. If you didn't manage that then your ownership would expire and you'd become a stray.

At the age of 18, your classroom was merged with that of the previously segregated girls class. Your teacher informed you that this was how it would be for the next couple years. She further elaborated that this would prepare you for mingling with other women, a skill you would undoubtedly need in the outside world. However, having the girls added to your class was very disruptive. During this time many boys were bullied, some fell in love, and others began acting strangely.

It has now been almost a year since the classes were mixed. Teachers have announced that adoptions would be happening very soon. There's a great deal of nervousness and excitement in the orphanage. While leaving your last class for the day, you step into the hallway to decide what to do next.
