An offer of help

Tanya went downstairs. Dimitri Koyeskev was standing at the door. Dimitri was a loner, who wore clothes with patches on the knees and rips sewn up. He made good grades and kept to himself. He was kind of cute, but Tanya knew he was dirt poor and even helped out in the cafeteria for free food to take home after school.

"What do you want?" asked Tanya, expecting more humiliation.

"To help," said Dimitri.

"Help yourself to my ass?" Tanya said angrily.

"No, help rid you of your curse," he said matter of factly.

For some reason Tanya believed him. She took his hand and almost dragged him to her bedroom and shut the door.

"What do you know about this?"

"The woman who cursed you is from the village I was born in. I know her and her powers. I can help you."

"I'll do anything if you can get his curse off of me!" said Tanya.

"You'll do anything NOW if I want," said Dimitri.

"What do you want?"

"Just $50 a week. You can make that many ways: baby sitting, working part time after school at a burger place....The first week that goes by without payment, the curse comes back."

The idea of working like some poor kid at a greasy burger joint revulsed Tanya and she didn't think she could baby sit enough. She could steal some from her mother and father though. "Deal! What do I need to do?"

"I do not have the power to remove the curse, but I can let you transfer it, but I get to pick to who you give it."

"OK, just tell me what to do!"

"You can give this to your bitch friend Claire, Claire's hot divorcee mother Candace, or your own mother. Only one of those three, no one else."

"OK," said Tanya. She had to decide who to give it to.
