An artifact and a target

"What do you have in mind Tsunade?" Naruto asked seeming very interested.

"I need time to clean up and recover." Tsunade replied. "Come back here in an hour and I will show you. In the mean time you should probably decided who your next conquest is going to be."

Naruto nods and then gets up to leave the office. As he reached the door he turned back and looked at Tsunade who had an almost dreamy look on her face. He cocked a smile and walked out of the office and headed back into the village. Being honest with himself this was not how he thought his first day home would go. He expected to make his way to his apartment and then maybe catch up with...

"Naruto there you are." A familiar voice came from behind him. "You were in with Lady Tsunade a long time. What did she need?"

Naruto turned to see Sakura coming out of a shop holding a a few large bags. Naruto strolled over while he tried to come up with a cover story. When he gets close however Sakura hand him one of the bags.

"Here hold this for me." Sakura says. "Anyways it's good to see you. want to walk with me and catch up a bit? It's been too long and to be frank too quiet."

For the beter part of the next hour Naruto and Sakura walked through the village talking about everything from Sakura's training while Naruto was gone to any leads about Sasuke or Orichimaru. As the later topics came up it was obvious there was a great deal of tension in the air. As they reached Sacura's house Narto gave her back her shopping bag. Then out of nowhere Sakura kisses him quickly on the check before going inside. It was at that moment Naruto knew who he was going to select for Tsunade's plan. Which reminded him it was almost time.

He made his way back to Tsunade's office. When he got there Tsunade is sitting at her desk with a small almost jewlery box looking case on her desk. She looks up and smiles.

"h perfect timing." Tsunade says in a cool tone. "Sit down and I'll show you the tool you will be able to use to fulfill more of your desires."

Naruto sat down in a chair as Tsunade opened up the box on her desk and retrieved what looked like a pendant that looked like a crystal sun on the end of a silver chain. As the light hit it there is an almost rainbow like glow.

"This is the crystal of the mind." Tsunade says lowing the pendant into her hand and then presenting it to Naruto. "When someone focuses their Chakra through it, it generates a prismatic glow that can put anyone who looks into it into a hypnotic trance almost as if under a genjutsu except that the trance is much more powerful. Only those of the Uchiha clan can rival with their eyes. The only problem is that once used it takes some time for the crystal to regain it's ability. last time it was used was for an interrogation not too long after Orochimaru had attacked the village years ago. Even then it took about a month to recover."

"Ah I get it." Naruto takes the crystal and smiles. "So I can use this on Sakura to make her just like you."

"Sakura?" Tsunade said with a hint of sarcastic surprise. "No surprise there. I guess al that is left to plan out when you are going to use the crystal and what instructions you will give her."
