An Active Mushroom! (Karma's A Bitch, Isn't It)

You are excited to see what it is until you finally pull it to the opening to find a foot long mushroom in your hand. You're disappointed and quite annoyed by the almost joking find. You think about throwing it against the cave wall tell it suddenly sprays a cloud of spores directly in your face.

You fall back, coughing and accidentally inhaling most of the spores, feeling pretty pissed that a mushroom just blew in your face. You suddenly feel strange, a bit gitty even. You sit up collect yourself and find the cave much more nice. Practically beautiful. The way the glow compliments the atmosphere and rock. The moisture and dew building on the ceiling and slowly dripping down to nurture the phana and carve the rock. And the mushrooms, such complexity in a small collection formed only by time and a instinctive need to survive, endure, reproduce, and grow. Art in the making of nature's hands. Then you see the elf again. She looks like she is having a lot of fun and maybe... Maybe... You can have some f- wait, what the hell are you thinking?

You know its just a damn cave. Yet some kind of voice is telling you it is magnificent. Is it though? Is it the mushroom? It has to be its spores affecting you. But maybe it isn't or is that just the mushroom talking? So confusing. You can barely wrap your head around any of it, but you try to keep yourself together.
