An Above Average Day at Work

Having spent a little long goofing around with that letter, I arrived to my workplace with a few minutes to spare sliding into my cubicle. Being just out of high school, I was fairly proud of my job doing computer tech support for a small vendor. We all had our own pc, desk and small cubicle. One of the perks definitely was this stunning blonde that was 2 years older than me in her early 20s. Definitely, the best looking girl in the office with near perfect proportions and our boss was always showing her some favoritism. Hell, pretty much any of the guys did.

The only downside is every time we wanted a break or to step away from our desk, we had to sign out of the queue for taking calls and our manage would always ring us asking why we were signed out. Honestly, I didn't really believe the letter was going to grant me powers -- but -- even if it did I was sure it would take some time to take effect; I sure could go for a coffee -- but new the manager wouldn't let me till my break which was an hour away.

Just in case though, thought John, wheeling back in his chair taking time to check out Jane's incredible body filling out that black skirt and white blouse, John whispered to her, "Hey, how are you? I didn't sleep a wink last night." Jane looked back, not even bothering to respond and gave her usual expression of rolling her eyes at his attempt at small talk; not at all interested in the young man.

Playing off the insulting behavior like it was a joke or unintentional and subtly trying to throw in a command, John responded "Awe, you hurt my feeling. Be nicer to me from now on, will you?" before rolling back into his cubicle just in time to miss Jane muttering, "I will."
