Amber 31422 (Technology)

The Substance known as Amber 31422 is an Advanced Containment Measure Developed By PGS after Three Years of Extensive Testing and Research to combat The Growing Frequency and Severity of Breaches in The Space-Time Continuum in Recent Years. Most breaches only open for a few nanoseconds and are the size of a pinhead but there are those that are large enough to swallow a person and can remain open any where from minutes to days and worse they have The Potential to grow into Micro-Black Holes capable of engulfing entire cities and possibly The Planet.

The "Amber" Compound is contained in a Small Gas Canister similar to a Smoke Grenade but within 10 Minutes of Release The Amber's Aerosol Form begins to harden into a Solid, Mineral-Like Substance similar in Characteristic, Color, Hardness and Translucency to naturally occurring Amber, which is typically a Fossilized and Mineralized Version of Ancient Tree Sap.

Amber is used to isolate and protect quarantined regions where breaches were in danger of opening. Any Person Entombed in Amber does not Die but is placed in a State of Suspended Animation.
