Chapter 2 by redbanditfox redbanditfox

You forget about it and move on to thoughts of the weekend

Almost there

The forest seems to get more dense as the car approaches the campsite. Erik looks around, looking a little nervous.

"Hey, Ash, where did you find this place anyway?"

"Neil found it actually." You point towards your friend. "I knew it was secluded, didn't realize it was so far off the map, though."

Neil laughs. "Yeah, I might not have been fully honest about it." Everyone turns to look at him, confused. "It's actually an abandoned summer camp for kids. I was chatting with this guy on a forum and he sent me the link. There are only a few cabins left standing, but there's still electricity, heat, and running water. I guess the owner rents it out to people who love the old horror movies like Friday the 13th."

Rory pulls away from his boyfriend, "Are you serious, babe? You're bringing us to a haunted camp site with, like, murderers wearing hockey masks and zombies and stuff?"

"What? No! They company just ran out of funding in the 90's so now it's privately owned and rented out. That's all, I promise."

"Hey," you speak up, "at least we're all going to be there together in case anyone with a hook for a hand tries to get in."

"I think I should bunk with the girls. You know, to protect them." Erik grins, a sneaky look in his eyes.

"No way you're bunking with my sister, creep. Unless you want to be the one wearing the panties and dress." Omar warns, never taking his eyes off the narrow road.

Your brother looks back to you. "Hey, I've done crazier things for a girl." He says with a wink.

Rory laughs. "Hey, Erik. Be careful. I think Omar might be serious. Wouldn't want to be at the end of wrong end of his wrath. Or the wrong end of his dick, if the stories are true." He glances at Neil with a playful smile before continuing, "Don't worry though, you can run to me, I'll protect anyone in a dress. I can swing both ways, you know." Rory grins as he grips Erik's shoulders in front of him. "Especially for a girl as cute as you."

Erik pushes him off. "Yeah, yeah. You wish, Don Quixote."

The car slows down. "Hey guys, is this it?" Omar asks. You look outside and see an aged arch with the words 'CAMP LUCID LAKE' etched above it.

Rory and Erik look unimpressed, but Neil's face lights up as he looks around. "Yup! Welcome to camp, boys!"

We're here!
