Alexa gets help

“Excuse me, can I help you find anything?” A woman said as she approached Alexa wearing the blue vest and dark pants.

“Uh yeah I just um n-need diapers,” Alexa said showing the woman the list Helena had given her.

“Oh I see,” the woman said. “Well my name is Mary. I can help you find exactly what you need. Let’s go over to here. As you can see the diapers are over here. What size do you need?”

“Y-youth size? Like for a big kid but not a baby…” Alexa said remembering what Helena had told her.

“I see,” Mary said. “Well I think these could be what you’re looking for.”

She gestured to a pack of plain white extra absorbent diapers. “Uh d-do you have a design that isn’t plain white? One that’s more I dunno cute?”

Mary smiled. “Oh, I see so you need youth diapers with cute designs. I know the perfect ones for you.”

Mary walked down the aisle and reached over, coming back with a package of extra absorbent diapers that had unicorn designs on them. “Oh those should be perfect. Those are exactly what I need,” Alexa said.

Mary smiled. “I’m glad I could help you. Alright let’s see what else you need.”

Alexa followed Mary as she helped load her cart with the supplies she needed. “That should be it,” Alexa said as Mary loaded the last of the baby food. “Thank you so much.”

“You’re very welcome,” Mary said as she brought her over to one of the registers and rang her up. “Alright your total will be $32.28.”

Alexa handed over her credit card. “Here you go.”

“And here is your receipt. 5 packages of youth diapers, 2 large containers of baby wipes extra soft, 2 containers of baby powder, a pink baby pacifier, and 10 jars of baby food. Have a nice day, Alexa. Feel free to come back when you need more diapers.”

Alexa stopped in her tracks. “W-what? No I don’t need these. These aren’t for me,” Alexa said.

“Hey whoever needs them is going to need more when they run out,” Mary said with a smile.

“R-right,” Alexa said as she blushed wondering if this whole time Mary thought she was shopping for herself rather than for her boss as she pushed the cart of the purchased items towards the door.
