In Space No One Can Hear Our Vengence

Alex reread the report about this human. The report didn't give much personal information about her. It just stated that she had encountered the son of the "god" Loki in the form of a large dog. Considering the nature of the violation this presented it was no wonder Galactic Federation legal council was allowing this mission to take place. They clearly understood the implications of allowing this violation to continue unanswered. Ragnarok could not be allowed to occur on Earth. That would cause far too much disruption to the natural development of the humans and their development had already been altered far too much already by the "gods". Thus, it was with all due discretion that Alex was to complete his mission to intercept and eliminate the source of anomalous readings coming from this human. Failing that Alex was to eliminate the human. Regardless of which path was necessary, the situation must be resolved with a minimum of collateral damage.

Since the treaty ending the reign of the old gods, the Protectorate had struggled to maintain the human's apparent need for their "gods". The slow elimination of those gods had been part and parcel of the treaty. It was meant to ween them from their unnatural dependence on the gods. Now the gods were causing more damage. Well, one particular god was making trouble. Or rather hiss on was. Fenrir would need to be dealt with so that the anomalous humans could be fixed. Alex knew he would need to hurry in order to prevent the spread of the disruption. IT would require subtlety and guile...or just being really lucky. Alex didn't really care which it was as long as something was done about this problem. Alex began to get ready for contact with the humans. Alex cloaked himself as he waited for the transport to complete. A few moments of disorientation later and he was on the surface of the planet the locals called Earth.

Making sure to not be spotted, Alex removed the cloak and hid it in his pocket. Strolling casually out onto the street, he began his search for the creature that had **** him to violate his most sacred oath. The beastly canine would regret his decision to alter humans while they were under Protectorate protection.
