Albina

Albina might be good to have with you, you decide - you'd like to continue to build common ground with her, and, after all, she knows the people here. You glance over your reflection one more time, then head down to the main house to seek her out.

You find her reading in the garden. "Albina!" You call. She looks up at you in surprise.

"Yes, Gaius?"

"I'm planning to interview some of the slaves on the estate about the bandit problems today. I was wondering if you might be willing to accompany me?"

Albina frowns. "Well, I'm not sure why you think I would be helpful with that. But of course. I'm happy to come with you."

"Don't sell yourself short, Albina," you say with a smile. "You've a winning personality - I'm sure that you're better able to coax information out of people than most."

Albina chuckles. "I don't know about that. But we'll see! Let me just let mother know where I'll be, and we can be off."

You smile and watch her leave. In a few minutes, you're both headed out into the fields.
