(This picks up after Jason hears Aiden’s prayer, before the thread gets hijacked by the previous chapter’s author).

Jason was sitting on his bed, answering prayers and listening to a large choir of angels who were singing and dancing throughout his large, expansive bedroom while he worked on what he considered his most important job as the new God. He heard countless prayers and decided on answering them one-by-one or not. He also stopped to check in on those who posted each prayer, to see who they were and what their lives were like.

But one prayer caught his interest and made him curious. It was from a teenage boy named Aiden, who had wished to be able to sing just like him.

“I wish I could sing with Jason on his band.”

That was unusual, especially for a boy. Jason had heard that prayer numerous times from girls before, who had asked for this so that they could just be with him and the band. But, this was the first time he had heard it from another boy. Why would a boy ask for this?

So, Jason decided he wanted to meet this kid. He could always use a backup singer for the band and he figured it would be fun to have a young boy as an intro for him and the band. So, Jason snapped his fingers, making Aiden magically teleport to the bedroom.

Aiden popped up, completely naked, standing right next to the bed. He was soaking wet since he had just rinsed the soap off of his body. The 15-year-old boy was about an average height with short, jet-black hair and deep, brown eyes.

“Hey! What… Where am I?”

“You’re in Heaven right now, Aiden! This is my bedroom. I’m Jason Henderson… Also known as God… But you may call me Lord Jason!” Jason said to the boy.

“Uhh…” Aiden said, pondering what he had just heard, while thinking about those words. “Lord Jason?”

“Yes! You wanted to be in my band, right?”

“Oh… Yeah… Just to be able to sing…. Sing like you…” Aiden said calmly.

“Interesting… So, you like to sing?” Jason asked the boy.

“Yes… It’s the only thing I know how to do… How to do well… Everybody in church says I have a nice singing voice…”

“But… You don’t want to do it just to catch the interest of girls, do you?” Jason wondered out loud.

Aiden made a face.

“Not really. I mean, I’m friends with a few girls, but I’m not interested in them. My best friend… Well, uhh…” he said shyly.

“What? You can tell me, Aiden.”

“Umm… My best friend is… Another boy… And I like him a lot…” Aiden said quietly.

“Come on my bed, Aiden!” Jason ordered.

Aiden slowly crawled on the bed and sat next to Jason.

“I like you… I really like you a lot… Right now, I’m touring all by myself but I want to slowly add more people to my group… And I can tell that you really have the heart and the talent for music!”

This made Aiden blush a little bit.

“Please sing that song for me, the one you were singing in the shower!” Jason asked the boy.

Aiden cleared his throat and started to sing. The angels in the background started to play on the harps, flutes and trumpets, providing the background music for the song he was singing. It sounded absolutely beautiful.

“Wow… You have quite a voice there, young man!” Jason smiled.

“Ohh… Thank you, Lord Jason.”

“I think I’m going to keep you here!” Jason said then, making Aiden’s jaw drop wide open. “You will live with me in Heaven from now on!”

“What? Really? Me?” Aiden gasped.

“Yes…” Jason responded. “I don’t mind it that you’re gay or bi. Plus, I really like your voice. I really like your character, your heart and your attitude. I have made a decision! From now on…”
