You find yourself in a desert city, bereft of people but crawling with monsters. You advance cautiously at first, but must throw caution to the wind when you see a young man surrounded by monsters. You join the fray, calling upon your newfound powers with reckless abandon, leveling up, but the mob seemed endless.

Your companion has a tanned skin, brown eyes, and a black shaggy hair. He wears a red-violet fez and a thin, purple vest that exposes his muscular chest. His pants are white and baggy, and are held up by what seems to be an orange sash. He wields a short scimitir with uncanny speed. You are sure you are ahead of bodycount, but he is still doing it very well. Only your MP is close to out again, and you dont think you are going to level up again anytime soon.

"They just keep comming!" you yell, and he answers "Then maybe it is time to see if the legends are true...Magic Lamp, my first wish! get rid of these heartless!" A blue gennie appears and vanquishes your opponents, with a simple twist of his fingers.

"You have the magical lamp! you exclaim, surprised" He and the genie explain to you the limits of the artifact, and tell you they are both going to the castle. As you were a stranger in a stranger land, you ask if it is ok to tag along on their mission.

"..." you pause in front of one of the nearby stalls, and asks. "How much would a robe like this cost?" you points towards one of the bulky, blue ones in the stand. "10-15 gil?... just take it. The owner wont even notice the difference" You begin to suspect Aladdin is a thief, but dont say anything for now. You spot a flimsy silky trousers, cerulean blue, and estimates... well, if this one has perhaps a tenth of the fabric, than perhaps it costs a tenth of the price. You place the Gil you were carrying before, dress your new outfit, and follows Aladdin down the street.

A shame you didn't notice the dark figure in the shadows holding a huge book in his hands.
