Hilda tries chasing after them, but those pebbles really hurt when you step on them, and she just can't keep up. It isn't long before she loses sight of them and gives up on ever getting her money or gear back, at least in the short term.

She steps off the road and into the grass and takes a moment to catch her breath.

"Ug, what am I going to do?" whimpers the knight. "I guess I should go back the way I came and see if I can find some shoes or something. After that, then I'll come back and get **** on those damn goblins."

She turns around and starts heading back.
