Accidental trip.

As she tried to focus on the photo of her school Alice had a look at an old faded picture.

It was a photo of a beautiful beach in the south of France where her parents met up while on vacation. It was love at first sight her mother told her and once home they married three months later.

It was a mistake to let herself get lost in thought like that at such an important moment of the ritual.

Before she could do anything about it she was standing her skin bathed in the sun, her toes in the hot sand and looking at the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

Toes? Skin?

With alarm she looked down and saw that she was as naked as the day she was born.

An ominous realization struck her as she finally understood the true meaning of the ritual.

Revealed to the place.

Walk free of all restraint.

The spell advertised that she would be stripped but it was such a grievous thing that her mind didn't allow her to notice it.

She was lost in a foreign land, naked, with no money, and she barely spoke the language.

She was feeling a lot more power in this place than back home and there was a Locus nearby where she would be able to cast a spell to go home without waiting a week , but both finding it and remaining unnoticed would prove difficult.

She looks around and notices that the beach is far from deserted.

A lot of sunbathers are gathered here and while no one seemed to have noticed her arrival (a useful part of the spell) a lot of them were looking at her.
