Chapter 5

What lay at the other end of the apparatus?
A young mindless but live female body.
At the other end of the apparatus sat the head of a female body. This body was not blue or gray like a corpse. This body retained its natural color of tanned light brown, like a Thai mixed with Hawaiian skin. The face of the body was beautiful, even stunning. So stunning that it could turn some heads if it weren't laying mindless on a table. The body was naked but a sheet of sanitary paper cover everything between the collar bones to the ankles.
You lay half-dead on your table hooked up to monitors which measured your blood pressure and heartbeats. The female body at the other table measured the same. A minute later, the surgeon, who was previously cleaning himself for a possible messy procedure, came in full uniform into the emergency room. His short friend dwarfed him but stayed at his side, with the same uniform on to provide any necessary assistance.
With no warning both your blood pressure and your heart beats per minute rised up like you were in shock. There was no time to waste.
"Doctor, heartbeats doubling and blood pressure spiking sir," the frantic nurse called out.
"Don't worry," the surgeon said who now was fiddling with some cables and switch, turning some on and off like he didn't know what he was doing. He pushed a button located right under the apparatus and a low humming sound originated from the apparatus. "Mind transplant is underway. Nurse, check on the receiving end."
"Yes Doctor," the nurse said as she sped past the short and stocky surgeon and right at the bedside of the female body. The vitals on the body seemed like they were before.
The surgeon then pulled a lever now on top of the apparatus and a brief high-pitched sound came from within the apparatus. Neon blue light now shined from the center of the fiber optic cables and the high-pitched sound died down.
"Doctor!?" the nurse questioned, easily uncomprehendible in the pandemonium in the room. "This body's vitals are rising sir. This body is matching those of the patients."
The surgeon didn't respond. The only thing he did was smile, in a freakishly, joyous way. Two minutes later the vitals of the your burnt body died down, until it flatlined. The vitals of the other body were rising but in a matter of seconds, died down until back to normal beat rates and pressure settings.
You wouldn't have known all of what has happened to you in these hectic moments, because through most of it you were either **** or blind or in a dream state.
But the moment you wake up, you will be tested on what you see, hear, say, feel, and think.
Where do you wake up?
Invasian
