A young leader of a small break-away group (M) ()

The main character is John. He might not be the most qualified leader in the list of protagonists, but his cool-guy persona convinced a small group of pre-teens to early-twenties to follow him. He might not remember everyone's names on a day-to-day basis, but he works hard to keep everyone fed and warm.

The one most responsible for helping him is his sister, Lucy. She has taken it upon herself to be the woman in charge of the person to person relations of the group. If anyone needs for something, she sorts it. If she can't sort it, it gets sent up the chain to {firstmale}. She is of the opinion that shes the alpha female to his alpha male, and that eventually he will be hers. He hasn't quite realized any of this yet.
