A trap is sprung

Just as she was opening the handle, she felt her left foot being raised by someone, or something. pushed it with incredible strenght up and the rest fo her body followed suit just as the baker managed to open the door tot he storageroom.

(Clovis POV)

The damn door had been a pain for a long time now, probably rusty on the inside, he would have to call Jason, the blacksmith, to help him with it later, but right now he heard an intruder and its paces were too heavy to be a small animal, a thief was trying to run, but, despite that, the baker was calm, he knew what would happen once the thief tried to open the door, so he calmly pushed the door open and just as he did, he saw what he had expected, someone, he couldn´t see too well with his lamp, was trapped by a rope by its left foot. It was clearly strugling. "Shit. Shit. Shit." the voice was clearly female, young and very recognizable, at least for Clovis, he knew who it was on the door.

"Oh hello there Lina, are you liking this trap?" He says while walking calmly to her, as soon as she heard him, Lina stops her movements to respond. "Well Clovis, you got me, that was pretty smart i must say, you let the thief in but doesn´t let him out, i didn´t know you had this kind of knowledge, usually they teach this kind of stuff on huntling training." He finally reached her. "Thank you, dear, but the idea wasn´t mine, it was Yara´s, my little girl is smarter than ou think, even though she isn´t a huntling." Clovis spoke patiently, there wasn´t any rush, not anymore, for all he cared Clovis could leave her here all morning. "What now? Will you reprimand me? Send me tot he Elders?"

Clovis think about it for a moment, this was the correct thing to do, but he knew Lina was risking much more than a mere reprimand for the Elders, if she was caught doing anything bad, she would automatically fail her Ritual and would have to wait for another year until her next opportunity, all the while being abused and humiliated by the other boys. Clovis knows this and Lina knows this and he could take advantage of this situation, after all, she could offer him something he had always desired.
