A rude awakening

Jenassa and Nyxella were both startled by the feeling of ice cold water. “Wake up! It’s time for your performance!” The queen yelled.

Jenassa and Nyx groaned as they arose from their slumber to see Queen Isabella glaring at them. Nyxella and Jenassa both felt a rope tie their wrists together. “If you want to act like fools, the least you can do is put on a show,” Isabella said. “So, that’s what you’re going to do. You’re going to give the court something they’ll never forget. And if you fail to entertain, I will give you a punishment that you’ll never forget.”

Nyx and Jenassa exchanged a look, neither were looking forward to whatever Queen Isabella had planned.
