A proposed adventure...

"What are your plans in Lumumba?" he asks.

"Um, we're here to figure out... what's wrong with your country." Nicole says, realizing too late how it sounds.

"Well, I'm sure we will be forever indebted to you," Btugu replies evenly. "You have an interest in Africa?"

"Yeah, totally," Nicole replies. "I am so into hip hop right now. My brother likes reggae, he's thinking about getting dreadlocks."

Btugu smiles at Nicole shrewdly. "And would you like the opportunity to see the true heart of Africa?" he asks quietly.

Nicole looks at him, unsure what he's asking. "Yeah, totally..." she replies automatically.

Just then Seanna returns. Nicole tries to introduce the Irish woman to her new friend, but can't recall his name.

"Btugu," he supplies helpfully. "Nicole and I are planning a little adventure. I understand you have come to learn about my country?"

Seanna smiles and nods politely, glancing over at Nicole. Her protege smiles blankly. Ugh, with the Cambridges basically paying for the trip, perhaps it would be best to go along with this. It might even be educational for them.

"What do you have in mind?" Seanna inquires.
