A paddle

As I start to pull out one of my bags a dark brown wooden paddle falls out. Picking up and holding it in my hands I smirk and start to examine it. It is about sixteen inches long ,five inches wide and a quarter of an inch thick. It has several holes drilled in it, supposedly to make it hurt more either because of less wind resistance or pulling the skin or something. It is made of oak painted red with word Board of Education painted on it.

Flipping it over and over in my hands I start to remissness about where I acquired this beautiful instrument.
