Chapter 4 by GenericEditor168 GenericEditor168

What do you find first?

A maze of empty corridors

The tunnels and hallways of the Lusty Tomb are nearly empty. Clearly, it must have been some time since the last reset. Undeterred, you continue, your sword held at the ready. According to adventurer’s tales, the Tomb always resets if it’s completely cleared out, so there must be something to find…

After long minutes of walking through empty corridors, your footsteps and the clank of your platemail echoing from the walls, you finally come across a location that seems more promising: a wide corridor made of sandstone, held up with colourful pillars. Several broken skeletons, once armed with curved swords and square shields, lie on the ground. At the end of the corridor is a circular room with three doors.

Approaching, you find that the doors are made of thick stone, though each seems designed to slide aside with minimal effort. You can sense a faint trace of necromantic power behind the left one, a swirl of undead in motion behind the central one, and a fiend of some kind behind the right one, but there's no way of telling what they actually are without stepping through...

What door do you take?
