A good first day

You get to the Diner a few minutes before it opens. You see the tight little ass of a near perfect redheaded doll bent forward a little trying to unlock the door. Melissa sees you and introduces the redhead to you as Cindy. Cindy is a friend of Traci's and will be starting today as a waitress. Melissa and Cindy are having trouble with the lock. Your uncle's back door had a similar problem so you get it unlocked in no time.

Melissa tells you that after the hard day yesterday you are all starting late. The owner will be back from a long vacation next week and things should get a little easier. She was going to turn on the fryer and grill and kitchen stuff at 4:30 but couldn't get her ass here earlier. You tell her you have the back and to turn on the "open" sign and do what she has to up front with Cindy. Melissa smiles and says thanks. She adds Traci will be in by 8:00 and you can take one of the girls as an assistant.

After a hectic first hour of catching up, you have a few minutes to observe Melissa and Cindy. Melissa has worked food service for a long time, but is looking really tired. While a very kind and pretty girl, Cindy seems too young to work here. You will check if she is eighteen before taking her back in the kitchen. Traci comes in at 7:35 and tells her mom she will get breakfast first as she is starved. She flashes you a beautiful smile and asks if you can cook an off menu item and produces a bag of chocolate chips. You ask pancakes and she nods. You say sure. She asks you to make three stacks of three. After seeing your look of confusion, she says that she and Cindy still have to celebrate Cindy's eighteenth birthday. Cindy turned eighteen three days ago but Traci has been too busy working at the diner to celebrate. It is the girls favorite and the third stack is to bribe her mom for Cindy to get a break before eight.

While you are cooking Traci observes that her mom and Cindy don't work together so well. The redhead is shy and Melissa is take charge and go fast. Traci asks you "Would you would rather have Cindy back here, Cindy is good in the kitchen." Traci assures you, "Or my mom with you as those two aren't working together and I can teach Cindy to be a great waitress."

You tell her what her mom said about you taking one of the girls in back. You add that with your past experience even if Cindy needs training you can handle her in the back. You then plate the three orders of pancakes and say you are fine with any of them as an assistant or can continue working solo and she can train her friend to be a better waitress. You hand her the three orders and tell her that whatever her mom decides is fine.
