Chapter 5 by Cyberweasel89 Cyberweasel89

That was embarrassing... When does she next see Antonio?

A few days later...

Dylan only ran into Antonio twice over the next few days.

The first was in the halls of the second floor of the Right Wing. She was dusting some paintings and he walked by. He raised his hand and said "Hello, Dylan." The maid kept her head down and said nothing... Wait, how'd he know her name?

The second was just as he was leaving out the front door when she was walking by. This time, as he spotted her, he called out to her. "Oh, Dylan!"

Her head lowered, she whimpered and walked up to the angelic man. He was blessedly dressed in a white button shirt, black slacks, and brown sandals. She was grateful he was dressed this time, but his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and his shirt was unbuttoned enough so that the gold cross around his neck was hanging in front of his bare chest. Gulp.

"I am going to be in town tonight. Would you please let the others know they do not need to make me dinner?" he asked.

She couldn't look him in the eye, so she just nodded and said a quiet "Yes sir." Turning to leave, she couldn't help wonder how he could be so comfortable and casual around her... She'd seen him naked! How was she the one more embarrassed about this?

It was four days after the incident that Dylan knew she needed to clean Antonio's room again. As she entered the Right Wing, each footstep seemed difficult, like she was under heavier gravity. She knocked on his door's room and waited. No response. Stepping inside, she found the room empty. She knew better this time, though... She ran to the bathroom, knocked, and waited. No response. She jingled the handle. It was unlocked. She opened it and popped her head in. Empty.

Whew. Antonio was out. She could clean his room without him... wait, he wasn't here, hm? Should she? It was tempting...

Look through his stuff?
