A few Days

You drift in, and out of a restless sleep throughout the day. You vaguely remember Lauren bringing your Elixir supply's and sitting by your side so Sara could rest. You finally wake up screaming from a nightmare of your Last Hunt chasing the eastern-European looking Vampire for two blocks before the Damn car clipped your left-leg allowing your Prey to escape.

You look around unsure of where you are. You grab your cane drawing its silver blade and pull out across you keep hidden in a secret pocket in your shirt. You try to get up but are unable to due to pain running throughout your entire body. As your **** to lay back down the door bursts open with Sara coming to see what's wrong, until you raise the cross, and your cane sword in defense out of reflex making a worried Sara retreat back towards the entrance of the room scared of you.

That makes you remember the odd reactions she has made since you met here. You now realize that Sara is a Vampire her trying to avoid your suggestion of going to her club/restaurant during the day, the worried look at the chose of movies, and even the room you are in with no natural Light where she has treated you throughout the day. You calm down putting the cross, and sword cane away knowing if she wanted to kill you she already would have.

You look at her and notice she's crying. "Sara its ok don't cry I'm not going to hurt you, and I know you're not going to harm me either." She gives a little sniffle. "That's not why I'm crying John its because now you're going to want to leave, and I like you being here, but because I was afraid you would think I was a monster I hid the truth from you." The sight of her in this state nearly breaks your heart.

"Sara come here I'm not leaving ok your not a monster you could have killed me at any time last night, and most of today while I was sleeping." She gives a small smile moves to the chair beside the bed and holds your hand. "Oh thank you John I heard how you were hurt by your ex Mia from Lauren, and I thought you would think you couldn't trust me, and that scared me because I am attracted to you." She blushes. You give her a gentle smile and grip her hand in comfort.

"I find you attractive to Sara, and you have done more just being here then Mia did the entire time I was in Rehab." You take a few breathes calming yourself. "She only visited twice and wouldn't even sit down next to me, or even stay long enough to talk, but I'm not sure I can have a relationship with you out of fear of us being hurt by The hunter's high council." She looks nearly heartbroken. "I could already be killed for using the Elixir for treating my leg, but if you want to risk yourself maybe we could try being a couple."
She bursts into tears of joy before pulling you into a kiss only breaking apart so you could catch your breath. You break out laughing. "I'll take that as a yes?" she gives a lovely giggle
"Of course that's a yes John now let me go get your dinner after I help bring you to my room so we could watch TV, and while you recover the next few days I'll take care of you." You pull her into a kiss then nod ok.
