A dead end, with two levers

The hallway suddenly ends in a wall, with no apparent other route. There are two levers though, the slightly rusty metallic handles sticking out of either side of the hallway, glinting dimly in the light of Tyra’s hammer. The two women go up, inspect the area for any apparent traps, and then Tyra reaches for one of the levers. It’s heavy, and she requires both hands to move it down, but nothing seems to happen when she pulls it. Diana pulls the other, and similarly no effect. As they frustratedly fiddle with the levers though, at some point they begin pulling both levers down simultaneously, and the wall slowly begins to lift up, dust and small pieces of stone coming off as some unseen mechanism creaks and groans, and the wall lifts inch by inch. As they release pressure on one of the levers though, the wall comes to a stop and begins to slowly descend again.

“Hold the lever, hold the lever! It’s a dead man’s switch, we gotta keep ‘em pressed down until the wall’s open!”

Both women pull down the levers with both hands, and the wall begins opening once again.
