A couple of weeks later

It was Monday afternoon, and Adam definitely felt it. The late night video game playing with Zack and Brandon had seemed like a good idea at the time, but he was really feeling the repercussions of their decisions. It had taken Adam and Brandon a while to get Zack back into the groove of things after his conversation with Lisa. They tried to get him to tell them what she had said to get him this down, especially when it was obvious that the relationship had been dead for a while, but Zack had kept silent all this time. It appeared as if Lisa had said some profound things, because Zack's growing friendship with Vicky had been visibly put on the backburner, to her and their friend's surprise. Adam and Brandon had to take her aside and explain the situation to her to ensure there were no hard feelings where there shouldn't be.

There was obvious strain among his friends, as would be expected with two couples breaking up within it. What seemed to be a peaceful breakup between Brandon and Ashley appeared to be anything but, as they continued to ignore each other and make conversations really difficult with them around. Unlike Zack and Lisa though, it appeared as if both Brandon and Ashley had moved on from one another. Adam knew for sure that Brandon was seeing another girl, who he knew as the assistant equipment manager for the men's basketball team. It had been obvious the connection they had was real, even during Brandon's relationship with Ashley, and when they had broken up it surprised no one that Brandon was spending a lot more time with her.

From what Heather and Madison had told him, it appeared as if Ashley had also moved on, and rumors said she may be dating Lee, a fellow basketball team member. Heather nor Madison were sure, and Chelsea had only heard the rumor, so Adam wasn't sure what to believe, but the frosty attitude between Brandon and Lee at practice all but cemented things in his mind. The lack of chemistry was evident to everyone in the gym, and the coach took the two of them aside for around fifteen minutes for a talk while the rest of the team practiced. When the two boys returned to practice they were put on different rotations, so that their dislike for one another didn't carry over into the game.

As the days went by, Ashley's birthday party which they had planned when everything was much rosier, was fast approaching, it would occur on Friday evening at Heather's father's cabin in the woods. Heather had been making plans for the whole group to spend spring break at her cabin, and was using this event as a ways to get everyone comfortable with the thought of spending a week up there.

Adam entered Ms. Moreau's class alone, only because he had been spending some extra time studying in the library with Chloe and Madison, Madison had transferred into their class from her old one. The two girls had left before him, as he stayed behind to ensure he was prepared for the class that afternoon. "Brown noser." Madison had said to him as she and Chloe ad gotten up.

"How so?" Adam teased the beautiful young woman.

"How far are you trying to get up Mary's ass, with all this extra homework bullshit? Neither of us see you doing any homework besides literature." Madison observed.

"Very observant, maybe you two could be detectives for Vicky and her newspaper."

"Shut up, Adam." Chloe laughed.

"I'm just joking." Adam chuckled as he could see the telltale signs of an annoyed Madison coming as he tried to had her off. "There's just courses that you enjoy, you know?"

"And teachers?" Chloe asked slyly

"Well, they certainly don't hurt." Adam said "Why don't you two go on ahead, I'll see you in class." Adam suggested. Madison mad an rude sound in Adam's direction as she turned around to walk out of the library with Chloe. "I love you too!" Adam teased her as he usually did when she left a room annoyed with him. He got his characteristic reply as well as she stuck up her middle finger at him without turning to face him, although Chloe couldn't help but turn around and smile at him as she left. He watched them leave, then dug back into finishing up the chapter that Ms. Moreau would be covering in class in- ten minutes he thought as he checked his phone for the time. He finished up his reading with a couple minutes to spare and made his way to what had quickly become his favorite class at Azure Rocks. He entered the classroom as his peers continued to mill about waiting for the bell to signify the beginning of class. Adam saw his friends and walked towards them, but not before smiling at the beautiful young teacher standing at the front of the class, and getting one in return. Adam remembered how she used to be kind to all her students, but not so kind as to smile openly at one of them, because as she said "I'm not your friend, I'm here to help you learn" to all the students on the first day of class. The students she knew from previous years, like his friends, she was comfortable smiling around, but with new students, the had to earn her trust. Adam started that by, going for extra help with concepts he was struggling with after every class, and she started to look forward to their little time alone. Adam then started to drop in during his spare, whenever he had free time he wasn't using practicing basketball or hanging out with Heather, to discuss some ideas for novels he had been thinking of. Soon enough, they were on a first name basis, and Adam was fairly confident that the stares he was receiving from some of the boys in class was due to his perceived 'brown nosing' as Madison had put it. If he had a chance to fuck the hottest teacher in school, then he could put up with the ire of some school boys in his class.

As he passed Madison's desk, she pointed her finger down her throat in a retching motion. Adam motioned down to his dick, which caused Madison to push him away back to his seat. As he sat down, he noticed Ms. Moreau staring at him, what was that look? After class as everyone was starting to file out Ms. Moreau said "Adam, could you stay back for a bit please?"
