A burger

So far from home you just want some true American food. Nothing like a burger and fries. Your mum goes off to the airport bar but your only 18 and so you just know they won't let you in.

You end up settling on burger king, although for some reason it is called Hungry Jacks here. The menu seems the same though but they were very small fries and drinks. You look around trying to find a seat but it looks like the lunch rush is on. There is only one seat next to a surfer guy.

He seems nice enough so you walk up. "is this seat taken?" you ask. He looks you over for just a little too long smiles and and pats the seat. "No you come and sit with me."

Turns out his name Is John and he is waiting for a plane to Hawaii to go to some big surfing competition. You sit and talk for what seems like hours. You catch yourself giggling at all his jokes and shamelessly flirting.

I shouldn't be doing this, I already have a reputation of being the town bike back home. The last thing I need is for that reputation to follow me you think to yourself.

The more you talk though the less you worry. It's not like you will ever meet this guy again.
You're lost in thought not realising you are dreamily staring at him when he says something to pull you out of your revelry. "you know there is a disabled toilet over there and I don't have to check in for another hour."
