A bundle of trouble

You quickly scan the paper, reading your three students, Hinata Hyuga, your second cousin Tsubaki Inuzuka... and Naruto Uzumaki.

Shit.

Seeing your worried face, the Hokage raises an eyebrow "Is there a problem?"

Internally groaning you reply "I'm just a little worried about the team structure. I get the Hyuga and Tsubaki, but I'm unsure about Naruto, or how I can help him."

The Hokage responds "He's there to provide backup to your tracking team. Plus, he doesn't trust many people, with reason I'm afraid. You've always treated him with respect, so I think he'll respond well to you."

You blink "But I don't really have enough knowledge of sealing, or high powered jutsus to help him."

He nods "True, but your technical skill and control should help him. Honestly, the only other person who might work is Kakashi Hayate, and I am not putting Naruto on the same team as Sasuke. That's just asking for trouble."

"He'll surpass me in skill soon enough."

The Hokage responds "Possibly, but only in direct combat. I trust you'll still be able to teach him, and if not, Jiraya will me visiting the village in a couple of months, I can have him help you push him along. Regardless, you have your orders. You'll meet and test them tomorrow."

You nod, and swiftly exit the building, heading back home. Your mother is in the living room, with your younger brother out, probably getting himself into all sorts of trouble.

Your mother smiles at you "How was your meeting with the hokage?"

In response you hand her the paper the Hokage gave you
