A Wildling Appears!

Shortly after you emerge from the haunted forest and approach the Frostfangs, you finally encounter some unexpected company.

Half a dozen people suddenly emerge as if from out of nowhere, quickly surrounding you and Aerion. They threateningly point their weapons at you, but they do not move to attack at once.

"Who are you and where do you come from?" one of them, a young woman with red hair demands.

You answer calmly as you can: "My name is Brynden. I am a simple traveler from south of the Wall. I am aware of your feud with the Night's Watch, but I have no quarrel with you."

The redhead does not seem so convinced. "Is that so? Then what brings you this far north?"

"Curiosity, mostly," you claim, "I've always wanted to see the lands beyond the Wall, as well as the people who live there. You seem a most hardy folk."

The redhead scoffs. "You came here for such a foolish reason? You are just as likely to meet your ****."

"I realize that," you insist, "But I'm not afraid. I have had a hard life myself, and I am never one to run away from a challenge."

"Indeed," said the redhead, as though she is starting to believe you.

It appears you are starting to get somewhere with these freefolk.
