A Week Later...

A week later, you get a progress report from Amsden. While there's some issues arising because of his lack of skill as a leader and a bit of civil unrest, Amsden is learning fast, and with the forces you've garrisoned there he'll easily be able to keep the peace and repel any potential attacks. He seems like a loyal, hard-working man who's busy at work trying to get the most out of the territory to supply your war effort, even if his leadership skills are more suited for war than peace.

Unfortunately, it seems you have another issue. As a Lord, Whitley had to pay a sizeable tax of produce to the Kingdom of Man. With Amsden in charge, you need to decide whether to continue paying that tax. On one hand, if the taxes keep coming, you doubt the Kingdom of Man will care too much that you've taken over as its focus is on border disputes with Elves, so you might avoid any unnecessary ****... until, of course, you have the strength for all the unnecessary **** you want.
