A Warrior and a Mage.

The heavy oak of the main doors swing open, revealing two figures.

The first is short, little more than five foot three, and wearing a white gown, signifying her role as a mage. her blue eyes are perceptive, and they twinkle with amusement. her white-blonde hair is worn loose, cascading down her shoulders and onto her back.

The second figure is far larger, about six feet tall, and built like a warrior. She wears a surcoat over mail, and carries an arming sword at her waist, and a spear in her hands. her auburn hair is tied back tightly, and her green eyes dart about quickly, taking in every detail of the room.

Kyra gasps when she sees the larger woman.

"Cassandra?"

The woman, presumably Cassandra, turns to look at Kyra, and grins a predatory smile.

"Ah, Kyra. Lucky me. See, I thought I would have to go all the way to town to find you."

You see Kyra's hand inch ever so slightly towards the hilt of her sword.

"Oh? and why are you looking for me?" Kyra asks, eyes narrowing.

"Well, I have been commanded to take you to my mistress," Cassandra answers, smile widening, "In chains."

Kyra's hand snaps to her sword, and in a flash it is drawn.

"Try it!" she snaps, a look of grim determination on her face "You don't stand a chance against me."

"I agree" Cassandra counters, her smile never wavering. "That's why I brought my friend here." She continues, gesturing to the mage.

The mage smiles at Kyra, amusement still evident in her eyes.

The two begin advancing, but are stopped in their tracks by the sound of Kyra's laughter.

"Two versus one? That hardly seems fair. Let's even the odds, shall we?" Kyra says, her voice full of mirth.

You recognize your queue, drawing your sword and preparing yourself.

"Come on out, Ulric!" Kyra shouts, grinning.

And you don't disappoint.
