A Sleazy Motel
Ariana made it home. She did not bother to change. She put her bags down right inside her door. She felt she had to be somewhere. She had an address in mind. She called an Uber. Soon she was on her way to side of L.A. she had never seen. It had run down houses, lots of liquor stores, paycheck loan places, and boarded up shops.
The address she told the Uber drive turned out to be a sleazy hotel.
She had never seen such a dump, little less stayed in any place like this, but she paid the Uber and walked to room 12A. She had no idea why she was there; she just knew she had to be there.
