A Good Crowd

It took almost two weeks before Karuuk's call was answered, and another week before the different leaders of each faction could arrive. During that time, Venus resumed her duties in full at the Harem. She was put both Songbird and Jillia to work providing entertainment with their natural skills. She had managed to find a violin for Songbird and had the woman singing to keep up moral. When not working on her back, Jillia was juggling and performing magic tricks. She had expected some anger from the former "Dancing Dagger," but was pleasantly surprised when one day Jillia cornered her in the alley behind the Harem's tent.

"Beast Tracker!"

Venus had turned in surprise at the call and had her whip in her hand instantly. Jillia was there, a dagger in her hand, but she held it loosely and without purpose.

"Jillia," acknowledged Venus, waiting to see what would happen. Jillia looked her up and down for a moment before tossing the dagger to the ground at Venus's feet. Venus let her muscles relax and put her whip back on her hip.

"Beast Tracker, no Mistress.... I wouldn't have chosen this life. I never wanted to be a whore. But I see something here with the Legion that I didn't see before while surrounded by humans."

"Stability right?" Venus wasn't surprised when Jillia nodded.

"With the Legion, strength and character mean more than money. If you want something, you earn it. As you did. The other girls tell stories of you. You were captured. A **** as I am now. But now you are free and Harem Mistress or not, you are one of Karuuk's advisers. Rose is happy and you have Te'Ran. I think.... I think that if the Legion takes over Fyrona, the country will prosper in ways we have never seen before. And from what I have heard, Karuuk is letting Michael join the meeting next week."

Michael was the closest thing to a leader the slaves had. He was a former town guard that had been captured during a raid. He was powerfully built and had a good head on his shoulders. If he was freed and made a true member of the Legion, that would truly boost human moral and give the Legion a good general.

"I'm glad you see what I do Jillia. So does this mean I can count on you from now on?"

"Yes. I'll use my body and my skills to keep the Legion going."

Venus picked the dagger up and walked over to Jillia, and put it in her hand. The woman looked surprised for a moment until their eyes met.

"Then by my agent. Karuuk is my Master and I'll do whatever I must to keep him and the Legion going. Males often let their tongues loosen when they have drink and female company. If you find one that speaks of betrayal, let me know. We will deal with it together so that our Master never has to. Jillia's expression became thoughtful, but then she agreed.

In the days following that, the ambassadors started to arrive. The first was Malkor, the leader of the Ironhorn Minotaurs. Then there was Taka of the Firebrand Goblins. Two other Goblin leaders showed up the next day, as well as a Kelpie named Zixar. Still others arrived. By the end of the week, there were ten ambassadors. Malkor, Taka, Zixar, Figel of the Marshclaw Goblins, Shill of the North Plain Goblins, Gorran of the Ogres from the swamp lands between Namina and Gaest, Yenmi of the Harpies, A human Witch named Relm who came on behalf of her coven, a Cyclops named Brute, and finally Michael. Shill, Yenmi, and Relm were all women. That would make Karuuk's order to her a little tricky. When Malkor had arrived, Karuuk had instructed her to watch him and decide which Harem girl would best please him at the meeting.

Pleasing the men would be simple. The women were a different matter. Malkor was big and would need someone someone able to handle him. As much as she hated to do it, Songbird was going to have to take him. Zixar was close in size from what she saw of him bathing, so she selected Alice who was now used to larger men as well. She had caught Taka staring at one of the Elven girls, so she selected an Elf name Meli to please him. Figel on the the other hand had been looking at Te'Ran and a few of the thicker Orc women. There were no Orcs in the Harem, but after a night of wine and sex, she managed to convince a female named Calissa to take him.

Gorran oddly enough seemed to understand Karuuk's plan on his own. He arrived at the Harem the day before the meeting and requested for Venus to allow him to choose his own partner. Venus was surprised by his tact and demeanor and allowed it. To her delight, he chose Jillia. A knowing looked passed between Jillia and Venus, but nothing was said. Michael was another easy fix since he had eyes for a girl named Sophia in the Harem. Sophia was happy to agree to be his partner at the meeting, so it was a simple matter of asking her. For Brute she chose Rose. The Cyclops was even bigger than Malkor and Venus knew that if anyone could handle him, it would be the legendary Passionate Rose. But that still left the women.

Shill turned out to be easy as well. She found a male among the slaves quite fetching and Venus managed to convince him it was for the good of all the slaves if he agreed. The poor man, Tom by name, had been a farmer. He was now just a general laborer for the Legion, but even he could see the potential of the slaves being allowed into the Legion. Relm seemed to have no interest in the human males and didn't look twice at the Harem girls. That left Venus in a bind. Until she noticed Relm casting glances at the males coming from out of the Harem. Venus did some investigating and found out Relm had used magic to spy on the more well endowed males as they fucked the girls. So Venus convinced Onglar to help out once more. That left Yenmi. Venus knew it was a gamble, but she decided to take Yenmi herself. She wasn't certain she could pull this off, but if she did, Karuuk would owe her big.

By the time the day of the meeting arrived, Venus had gathered her "Troops" and was prepared for battle. Karuuk was pleased with her choices and was quite thrilled that she had even planned on giving him an Elf girl as well. Venus planned on him having both his wife and the Elf, Fern, pleasuring him as a sign of dominance. A large tent was pitched and a table and chairs taken inside. Some of the Harem girls were working as servers to keep food and wine flowing, but they were also prepared for Venus to call them in to help in other ways as well.
