A Devious Detour

Khalus sprints through the crowds, his hands still cuffed behind his nude body. He darts into an alley and jumps into a nearby dumpster, hoping the officer will just pass him by. A moment passes before he hears heavy breathing and frantic footsteps get louder then quickly fade. "Well, that was a close one" He sighs in relief.
