A Bucket of Blue Slime?

As the agent stepped aside, the only thing that was revealed was a large bucket sitting on your sidewalk.

Confused and a bit curious as well, you step closer and look inside, finding it to be filled with something resembling blue gelatin. "This is a monster?" You ask in disbelief and lean in closer, examining the mysterious substance. You poke the surface to see how solid the slime is, only to have it cling to your finger and then slowly rise and climb around your finger. It feels slippery and much warmer then you had expected it to be, and as you feel the ooze around your finger begin to squeeze gently and pull at your finger, you realize that it certainly is alive. Pulling your finger back, the surface of the slime rises with it until a head forms, the morning sunlight making the translucent blue slime shimmer. Two eyes open, large, green and pupil-less as they stare into yours. A newly formed mouth opens around where it held onto your finger, smiling before the slime spoke in a soft voice. "Suu..."

Shaking your finger as you try to get rid of the sheen of slime that clings to it, you turn to ask the agent how this bucket of slime is going to be your new housemate, but as you turn to where she was standing, you see her van pull out and speed down the street, leaving you alone with the innocently grinning slime.
