You fly onwards towards the city, rising high in the air until only the only shape above you is the Enchanted Watchtower, appearing only as a thin streak of sky where there are no stars. As you near the boundary of the shield wall you try to think of a plan. Far below you can see the gate overlooking the valley, massive doors tight shut. You needn’t use them anymore, not now you can fly straight through them like air. Yet you circle back and think, lingering in the air above them. You’re not afraid of an armed confrontation in your current state. Unless an opponent lands a lucky blow like you did with your predecessor, you easily have the strength to overcome any normal man. Perhaps you could arrange to be taken prisoner alive, and healed eventually. Maybe all it would take is for you to turn yourself in and not kill anyone.
