The endless rattling of the grass, the thumping of Elia’s and every living beast’s heart in the farm and even that of the occasional owl flying by, and the ceaseless chatter of creatures smaller than the tips of your claws begin to grate on you terribly. You’d like to shut them up, one by one, crush them between your fingers as you instinctively know you could so that they’d stop kicking up such a ruckus. You’d go all the way around the entire world crushing insects for eternity if there was silence at the end of it.
Elia is asleep. The only beast you know of that would have harmed her is dead by your hand. You could leave her here and go a roaming for the rest of the night, occupy your senses, stretch your legs and your wings and your tail. If another demon is lurking you could very well kill it now and do unto it what you were too small and weak to inflict upon the first. You can already imagine the rush that might give you; you can see dozens of ways to maim and cripple it before ****. You almost forget that the demon is mostly imaginary, and nearly start to rage at the danger it would pose to Elia.
To fly into the night and quest for a way to purge your passions, turn to 255. If you prefer to suppress the urge and remain by the farm girl’s side, turn to 362. Don’t forget to keep a record of every time you choose to suppress your violent nature.
