You’re only **** for a minute, maybe less, before your body forces you awake, still sensing danger. The air is still thick and a strain on your lungs, your arms and legs slow and stiff. Without really thinking you pull yourself and start running again, ignoring the pain from one foot that lost a boot and is now exposed to the gnarly elements. A sharp pointy thing sinks into your soft sole but you don’t stop, hardly feeling the pain. You hear shrieking far behind you and your fear-born strength spikes. The atmosphere thins, you feel lighter, you take longer and higher bounds, getting further and further away faster and faster. And then disaster strikes. The trees end up ahead, on a ditch, and a very unkempt hedge bristling with sharp young shoots: the limit of a field.

Test reaction time. If you roll higher than 4, turn to 95. If you roll less, turn to 309.
