"Three," you say.

A few of your fellow classmates giggle. You inwardly groan as you realize that you said the wrong answer. As you look down at your notebook, you see that -3 is one of the points of inflection and that 3 is not.

"Did you not hear my explanation for why it is not at 3?"

"I meant 5," you try to amend.

"Nice try Jane, but I expect you to see me after class, which, according to the clock, should be-"

The bell rings. Your classmates begin packing their belongings.

"-now."

Your teacher heads to his desk to put some papers away as your classmates head for their next class. A few of your friends in the class look at you apologetically as they leave. You begin to put away your notebook and pencil into your schoolbag. Your teacher heads for the door and gently clicks it closed after the last student leaves. You're still sitting in your desk when his eyes finally reach you.
