You seized your marks but decided not to make a first move. Instead you sat down at the table and when the waiter approached you ordered yourself a supper and a bottle of wine.
It was a risk to assume there will be someone to pick up the tab by the end of the night for you. But it was risk you were willing to take. Luck after all was on your side.
