How do you respond?
“Ok, mom, i’ll try”
“Thank you- I appreciate you not making a big fuss out of this.” replies your mother with a smile on her face. “You’re growing up, you’re becoming a man your father and I can be proud of. All that’s left is to get rid of your gaming time and replace it with a little house cleaning and you’d be perfect!” she teases.
“Thank’s mom, but there’s no way I’ll give up my gaming!”
“I know- I know... just teasing you.” she smiles as she leaves you to your morning wake-up ritual.
