What happens next?

 the tour guide stopped the bus.... hard.

With her mind quite understandably occupied elsewhere, it made sense that Molly wasn't paying the tour guide much mind.

"Now folks, if you look to your left, you'll see one of the city's oldest structures, a house built in and preserved since the days of--"

The woman was cut off as she stumbled, everyone else shifting forward in kind as the bus suddenly came to a screeching halt in the middle of the road and sentence. The guide glared over her shoulder for a moment at her driver.

"... and if you look ahead," the driver muttered, still loud enough for most of them to hear, "you'll see someone who doesn't know how to use their turn signal..."

That line got a few chuckles, and the guide, apparently satisfied with the situation being somewhat salvaged, turned back to the group with an even wider grin.

"So, as I was saying..."

Molly didn't catch anything past that; if she hadn't paid attention before, she sure as hell wasn't now. Like everyone else, she had been caught by surprise when the bus stopped hard. Unlike the others, who at least had the tour guide's hesitation as a split-second warning, she had nothing. So, when the bus stopped, she kept going.
