A Whole New World

A/N: Bonus points if you catch my reference... And I don't mean the one to the little mermaid ;p

My vision begins to clear. Everything is still a mess. What's this, SGAAR, presents...? What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

This scrolls, presenting me with blackness. I try to look around, but all I see is blackness. I try to move, and nothing. I try to feel to where my body should be, and nothing. It is then that I realize: I have no mouth and I must scream.

Text then appears before me, much like a book. I understand the letters and can read it, but It holds no meaning. After the garbled text comes the words:

"System error. SIGSEGV: Segmentation Fault."

. . .... Rebooting Krynn...

Krynn is ready to ROCK!

Wait, what?

I'm presented by a blinking line. Then, what I see is replaced by a strikingly beautiful woman. With lavender hair, lavender dress, and blue eyes that mirror much of my own. Clasping her shawl at the top is a silver infinity symbol.

"...Mishakal?"

The girl shakes her head. "I am Aura. Help me. You are the only one who can save me." I see my hand manifest in her tender, lithe touch. A golden, hexagonal bracelet appears on my wrist with a flash.

"Please.. hurry..." Aura whispers as she fades out of my vision. Colors once again fill my vision. The blackness is replaced by a vibrant, lush green. I look around and flex my arms, greatful to move again. I am in a field somewhere, of that I am certain. Nobody is around.
