[Skip ahead past some pain and blood]

The next few chapters have the protagonist in very intense pain, and he soon acquires a bleeding head wound and the entire time he's trying to not die. It's not presented in a sexy way, and has important plot mixed in. It's also really tame compared to plenty I've read online. Most people should be fine, but here's the option to skip it since it shouldn't appear in the rest of the story.
You'll also miss the entire encounter with Julie which won't ever be repeated quite like that.
