[Enter The Eevee!]

Joy puts her Pokéball back on her belt, looking at me strangely. "Jason just tore through half the house and is 'Eating' the stove, why shouldn't I Pokéball him?" She asks.

Instead of answering I tell her: }Come on Joy, we need to get Destiny and the others from upstairs so you all can watch the PSA together,{ and we head upstairs.

We find Jade hammering on Destiny's door with her fists and repeatedly shouting "Chimchar!" In a panicked voice.

}Jade, calm down!{ I tell her.

After a few seconds, she does, then just sinks to the floor, crying.

"Chim, chim-chim, char-chim, char...!" Jade bawls. Trying to get across what's wrong but nothing sensible coming out of her mouth.

}Destiny? Your sister is crying her eyes out here, now you're going to come out and face the new reality with us or we're going to find something to use as a battering ram and come IN.{ I telepathically call into the room, but the door is opening even before I finish.

Destiny seems much calmer now, and as Joy and I explain the situation she looks mortified and queasy, the full implications coming to the fore for her faster than anyone else in the house.

We swiftly fetch Jack from his room and then troop downstairs.

Jason is now ensconced on the couch, but there's something wrong here, he's too calm, and not talking... Whatever the reason, he's calm, and we turn on the PSA again. Once it's run through I look over the amazed faces of the five people who haven't seen it before.

After sitting through the PSA again Joy looks stricken. "So I've been turned into an animated 'Nurse Joy' look-alike and I don't even get to be a Pokémon trainer? This sucks!" Joy pouts.

}Joy,{ I begin, but almost instantly I hear the back door open and turn to look. Standing in the doorway is a trio of Pokémon, each different, but none of them looking particularly friendly: one is a Herdier, the second a Panpour, and the third an Eevee. There are no obvious reasons for them to be here, except...
